Baby Dolly has been contracted to provide the antenatal
education at the George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton. Therefore
if you are booked at the George Eliot please read on...
The object of this provision is to provide you with fabulous
classes with a greater range of choice and availability.
Birth partners are always welcome/encouraged. All classes
are run by either Diploma qualified specially trained Antenatal
Teachers or Midwives that have undergone training with Baby
Dolly.
There are 4 classes available, to hopefully suit everyones
needs. There will be around 8-10 couples in any one class.
Each class is £12 (for you and your birth partner)
and this includes refreshments, an information pack and
£2 off our TENS hire package. If you want to attend
all four classes we can offer you a reduction of £5,
making the 4 classes just £43! All classes are held
within the Maternity building of the George Eliot Hospital.
Baby Dolly has many other services to offer you should you
need them.... from bra fitting and sales to birth pool hire
and birth balls. Take a look around our site to find out

We recommend attending your classes when you are at least
25 weeks pregnant and trying to complete them about 3-4
weeks before your due date. You can do your classes in any
order. We ask for payment at the time of booking and will
send you a confirmation letter. If you need to cancel your
class because your baby arrived early then please contact
us and we will happily refund your monies minus a £3
admin fee.
All classes are run weekly in the evenings, daytime and
weekends. Therefore decide which classes you fancy attending
and then check out the dates that are available. Please

is required at the time of booking.

A two hour session tailored for the needs of men.
TENS will be available to hire at the classes &
can also be arranged and delivered to your home.

Course A:
This class will concentrate on the labour process, 1st,
2nd and 3rd stages of labour, your pain relief options,
signs of labour, hormones and birth plans.

This session is an extension of course A, but optional.
Ideal for women and birth partners wanting to learn more
about active labour and birth, relaxation, birthing and
labour positions we can also take a look at waterbirths.
This is a practical class!

Looking at the postnatal changes in mum and the care of
your newborn baby, sleeping, routines, changing nappies!

This session will focus on skin to skin contact with your
baby and the advantages of breastfeeding. A very interesting
session and perfect for those wanting to know more or haven't
yet decided how to feed their baby.

CANCELLATIONS:
If you need to cancel your classes once your booking has
been made we require 14 days notice. We can then return
your money minus a small admin fee of £3.
If you cannot attend your class and cannot give us 14 days
notice we can either re-arrange your class or refund 50%
of your fees. Confirmation of your class dates will be sent
to you via email, if you would rather receive them through
the post then please let us know.

As first time parents the classes were really informative.
Any fears of going through labour were put to rest. The

Knowledge is a powerful tool and too much can either be
constructive or destructive. These classes are extremely
open minded and relaxed, to provide parents-to-be with honest,
unbiased and constructive knowledge to assist them control
the greatest achievement of their lives.
Before the birth i felt terrified of the unknown. i had
so many questions like 'what if i can't cope with the pain?'
'what happens after the birth?' and 'will i make a good
mother?' After these classes i felt more prepared metally
and once in labour the advice of Lucy kept ringing in my
ears. i stayed calm, focused and active and as a result
the birth was a very posistive experience. My advice to
anyone would be hire a tens machine!! After the birth i
knew what to expect and nothing came as a surprise. Since
we've been home the advice on feeding, sleeping, bathing
and changing nappies has been so valuable. Although being
a mum has taken time to get use too i'm loving the experience
and the adventure we are embarking on. Thanks you baby dolly.

I am so pleased that i attented the antenatal classes
as being a first time mum had so many questions. I found
it so useful and made me feel so much more confident in

The antenatal classes made me feel really calm about the
approaching birth of our baby. The excellent delivery and
presentation helped me to feel calm when i went into labour
6 weeks early and I really believe it was the lack of panic

Well worth attending, Lucy makes you feel welcome, and
tells you exactly how it is. She makes you feel human and
no subject is taboo.
I would definitely recommend the antenatel classes provided
by Dolly Baby. As a first time mum i was quite nervous at
the prospect of child birth & caring for my baby afterwards.
However after attending the classes i felt much more relaxed
about it. I found the information provided in the classes
extremely useful & would recommend them to any first
time mum.
The Baby dolly classes provided an excellent source of
information delivered in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere
by knowlegable and approachable staff- a must for any new

The antenatal classes proved invaluable to increase both
mine and my husbands confidence in coping with labour and
a first baby.
Attending the class gave my partner a chance to ask any
questions and to get involved. He was more prepared and
ready to cope with everything that happened when I went
into labour. I really do think this helped us both an awful

We found the classes with baby dolly were very informative
especially as we were expecting our first baby. The classes

Our booking policy for antenatal course bookings:
Places can be reserved on a course with a deposit of £20
for the Baby Deluxe and full payment for the Labour Day
and 1 to 1 sessions.
If
you need to cancel your booking prior to attendance and
this is more than 3 weeks before the
first session then we can provide a refund minus £3
admin fee.
If
you need to cancel your course and it is less
than 3 weeks before the first session then I
am afraid no refund can be provided.
