We have a varied selection of courses available to hopefully
suit everyone! All our antenatal / postnatal courses are
held in Leicestershire. You may notice that our prices are
vastly different to other company's. We feel strongly that
antenatal education should be available to as many people
as possible, we therefore choose to hold our classes in
nice community halls as opposed to hotels. If you would
like to book a course or find out more please feel free
to call or email. We also have an online enquiry form available
below. Please read our booking policy

Baby Labour
Day (£69 for 2 people*)
This is a one day course that covers labour and birth.
We also spend some of time looking at breastfeeding and
the newborn. Due to the limited time there are no practical
tasks (eg: bathing a baby). The course takes place on a
weekend day and begins at around 10.00am and will finish
at about 3.30pm. This course is ideal for parents who do
not have time for a long course or who find attending a
course in the evening prohibitive, or perhaps time has just
crept up on them and they do not have time to attend a longer
course before the due date. The session will be very informal
and relaxed. You will receive an information pack containing
reading material to take away with you and TENS will also
be available to hire. A light lunch and refreshments will
be available throughout the day and is included in the price.
Please make us aware if you have an diet requirements.
Our courses are held in Hinckley (Leicestershire) which
is easily accessible from the M69. We are close to Derby
(45 mins) Loughborough (35 mins) Nottingham (45mins) Sheffield
(60 mins). We can even arrange a relaxing nights stay at
the Hinckley Island Hotel for an additional £85 per
couple and this includes breakfast. So whether you want
to come just for the day or make a relaxing weekend of it,
we can sort it out for you.

Baby Deluxe Course
(£115 for 2 people*)
This course is conducted once a week for 6 weeks, usually
on a weekday evening for two hours, we are however trialing
another format of a Saturday morning (5 hours) plus two
weekday evening sessions and then the reunion, this is the
same number of teaching hours but placed differently. Hopefully
this enables women and their partners to plan in advance.
The start time is usually around 7.00pm although this can
be flexible depending on the groups needs. These classes
offer a real chance for parents-to-be to make good friends
and tends to be by far our most popular course format. We
use a variety of teaching techniques that include small
and large group work and practical skills for labour and
early parenting. We like to keep the class size to no more
than 8 pairs as this ensures that everyone remains relaxed
and able to ask questions whenever they wish to. The sessions
are very informal and comfortable. Parents are asked to
book these courses early because they are so popular. You
should also aim to have the course completed about 3 weeks
before your due date. These are held in Leicestershire/Warwickshire.
Remember all our teachers are fully qualified by Luton
University and the NCT
The last reunion session gives us the opportunity to get
together and share experiences and post natal issues as
well as a complimentary baby massage session
Reunion 2010
The six session of this course is held after the babies
are born to discuss post natal topics.

These sessions are currently available at our Thorpe Astley
and Braunstone Venues in Leicester and are primarily for
women attending the UHL hospitals. We are also trailing
the sessions in Coleshill, Birmingham. You can choose to

of delivery really helpful to families who have knowledge
in different areas or have possibly had a child before.
Each session includes refreshments, information pack, reduced
price TENs hire and ongoing support if required. Each session
lasts 2 hours and costs just £18. This price is based
on you attending with your birth partner. We only accept
a maximum of 8 couples/pairs per session.
Don't forget we also offer a personalised bra fitting service
and sales throughout pregnancy.

Baby Premium £249
The Baby premium is our five star offer to support you
through the birth and early days of this magical event.
Sadly the extra support some families often need during
the birth of their baby and immediately after is no longer
available through the NHS. We hope to be able to help by
offering you our support and expertise. In your antenatal
period you can either choose to attend our Baby Deluxe course
(see course details) or alternatively have two home visits
each lasting around 2 hours. You will be allocated a member
of the Baby Dolly team to care for you and they will be
available to call should you have questions outside of the
meetings. Once you have had your baby we will make 3 individual
hour long visits to your home to ensure you feel comfortable
with feeding (breast or bottle), bathing, massaging and
caring for your baby and provide any support where needed.
In addition within the package is a birthball with pump
and a tummy tub for baby (both we will show you how to use
:). If you fancy a chat about the courses please do not
hesitate to contact us.
Please note all calls and visits will take place Mon-Fri
10-5pm

If
you need to cancel your booking prior to attendance and
this is more than 3 weeks before the

admin fee.
If
you need to cancel your course and it is less

am afraid no refund can be provided unless special circumstances
prevail.
Facts about our classes
Who teaches the Baby Dolly sessions?
Our team are all fully trained in Antenatal Education
either via the NCT and Luton University or being a fully
qualified midwife and also undergoing training from Baby
Dolly. In addition all our teachers have recently undergone
the UNICEF Baby Friendly training which is compulsary
for all NHS staff working within a Baby Friendly hospital.
We work closely with all the hospitals in Leicester and
Warwickshire to ensure we are aware of any policy changes
and general information regarding the antenatal care and
facilities. We all trained to do this job because we love
working and helping women and their families through pregnancy,
birth and beyond. We pride ourselves on the relaxed and
fun classes we offer families.
What is the difference between NHS classes and
Baby Dolly?
The main difference is most likely the limited number
of people attending and the amount of information provided.
We limit our classes to 8 couples/pairs and provide lots
of information that is unbiased and based on statistics
and facts. We have no agenda other than to provide you
with informed choices. Being an independent company we
can practise autonomously with no restrictions, breast
or bottle, epidural or pethidine. All your choices will
be respected. Our sessions also aim to be relaxed, interactive
and most of all fun!
What happens after I book the classes?
We will take payment at the time of booking either via
cash, cheque or card and send you a confirmation email
with dates and times. If you do not receive this email
or have any additional questions then please contact us.
Do you share clients details?
No! You will be asked when booking if you
want to be added to out mailing list (this is a monthly
email newsletter of information and special offers) and
if you dont then you will not be added. We never sell
or provide other companies with your details. We are also
Data Protection registered.
Should I bring anything to the sessions?
You dont need to bring anything with you unless you need
a cushion for your back. We will provide you with lots of
handouts and refreshments throughout the sessions.
